The Problems of the Hydrological Planning are explored by F-IEA’s Director
Last 17th of December, a meeting has been celebrated by several authorities like Mr Antonio Later Zapata, Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Environment of the Region of Murcia, and a group of experts in water field. The main aim of this day of debate was to address current hydrological planning problems of the Tajo-Segura Transfer.
The event was organized by the Economic and Social Council of Murcia and structured in three presentations given by Mr Antonio Fanlo Loras, Professor of Administrative Law, by Mr José Suay Rincón, Professor of Administrative Law and Former Magistrate of the Supreme Court. Likewise, the third talk was presented by Mr Francisco Cabezas Calvo-Rubio, the chief of F-IEA and associate professor at the University of Murcia, who analysed the technical criteria for the management and exploitation of the Tajo-Segura transfer, in addition to presenting a historical evolution, current situation and existing problems in this respect.
