The Director of F-IEA has been awarded the 'Lorenzo Pardo Water Awards'
The director of the Euro-Mediterranean Water Institute Foundation, Mr Francisco Cabezas and the National Federation of Spanish Irrigation Communities (Fenacore) have been awarded in the first edition of 'Lorenzo Pardo Water Awards' which bears the name of the precursor of the National Hydrological Plan and the Tajo-Segura transfer.
The award has been promoted and granted by the Alicante Provincial Council and the 'INFORMACIÓN' Club, honouring professional careers and jobs that, in a singular way, stand out for a true culture of water. "This recognition aims to defend and collect the pedagogical work, the culture and the spirit of solidarity that identified the engineer Manuel Lorenzo Pardo, which is an issue that remains pending for all Spain," said the president of the Alicante Provincial Council, Carlos Mazon.
