IEA Foundation has participated in events commemorating the 30th anniversary of the IME.
The Mediterranean Water Institute (IME) partnership system with IEA Foundation, the Spanish Energy Club and the Mediterranean Energy Observatory (OME), has developed a program of activities to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the EMI . The program of events has had two sessions, a regional conference on water governance and other Unconventional Resources and Energy. This second thematic session was coordinated by the IEA Foundation and has been attended by Joaquin Griñán, Director General of Water in the Region of Murcia, which has developed a presentation on Water and Energy: General plan of cleansing and purifying of Murcia. The event was attended by over 100 participants from across the Mediterranean including organizations such as the Mediterranean Energy Observatory in France, the Water Agency Rhone-Mediterranean-Corsica in France, Wastewater Company of Egypt, the National Office Supply Electricity and Water in Morocco, Algerian Water, AGBAR SONEDE Tunisia, among others.
