Launch of a Euro‐Mediterranean Academic Forum on Water Resources Sustainability in Semiarid Areas.
IEA Foundation along with the Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum 37/38 and the Euro-Mediterranean University, has participated in the launch of a Euro-Mediterranean Academic Forum on sustainable water use in semiarid climates regions.
This academic initiative took place on Friday 4 November at which they joined various academic institutions such as Mare Nostrum Campus (University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic), National Research Council, Mediterranean Water Institute (Marseille, France), Mediterranean University (EMUNI), University of Haifa (Israel), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Moulay Ismail University of Meknes (Morocco) and Hacettepe University (Turkey).
The launch of this forum is presented to discuss, identify and assess the challenges and actions needed in the field of water management and sustainability, and the organization associated with teaching, research and transfer this area.
