Participation of the IEA Foundation in the closing ceremony of the SWAM project.

The Ministry of Universities, Company and Research , through the Directorate General of Universities and Scientific Policy, in collaboration with the Euro-Mediterranean Water Institute, the Federation of Employers of the Metal (FREMM), the Technology Centre of Energy and Environment and the University of Murcia, has organized a program of events during the 26, 27 and 28 June, due to the closure of SWAM Project held at the premises of the FREMM.

Among the events organized it highlights the Mediterranean Water Show, which brought together a dozen leading companies in irrigation, filtration and purification, pumping and groundwater gauging, testing and treatment, desalination or technological developments in agriculture and water management, displaying their latest products and innovations. During those days, they have conducted business meetings to promote new business opportunities between companies and research groups.

Researchers from the three partner countries in the SWAM project (Spain, Greece and Israel) and business partners showed the latest results obtained in acute technologies, in order to establish future collaborative projects, and the placing on the market of such innovations and patents.
